Child Protector is a program that will help users to restrict access to their computer. Users will be able to permit certain time intervals during week days, so the computer will shut down or hibernate automatically at other times. The program can be optionally protected from unauthorized access by means of an on-load password. Users will have the option to change the color of the program, but I think that no matter what color they stick with, the graphical user interface will remain very poor because of its old-fashioned design.
This useful application can be used in corporations for automatically turning off all the computers after the working hours and during weekends. In addition, it can also be used by home computer owners in order to limit the time their children spend at the computer; in addition, it will help them save on their electricity bill and expand the lifetime of their computer hardware by shutting it off automatically while it's not used.
One limitation of the program is that it supports only up to three scheduled tasks per day. In addition, there is no calendar-based date selector. The trial version will expire after just 20 days, and you won't be able to set scheduled tasks on Tuesday or Thursday in it.
